Pineapple Teriyaki Turkey Burger

Infused with the vibrant flavors of the tropics, these zesty teriyaki turkey burgers offer a refreshing take on the beloved American classic, destined to become a household favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. Ground Turkey
  • Olive Oil  
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Canned Pineapple, sliced
  • Swiss Cheese, sliced
  • Iceberg Lettuce
  • Hamburger Bun
  • Japanese Mayo
  • Teriyaki Sauce

Directions:

  1. Place the buns on the preheated pan for 2 minutes to toast them and then set them aside while you prepare the turkey patty.
  2. Place ground turkey and 1 tsp of Teriyaki sauce into a bowl and mix. Form into a ball and shape a patty. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Drizzle the oil in the large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add patty to the pan and top and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Flip patty and cook for another 3 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Add swiss cheese slice and cook for 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
  7. In a separate skillet, grill 1-2 pineapple slices until lightly charred, around 3 minutes.
  8. Assemble your burger with toasted buns. Top with patty, lettuce, japanese mayo, teriyaki sauce and pineapple. Add the top of the bun.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
